Shalom,

In this section, you will find many Bible teachings which are relevant to everyday life situations.  We will cover a wide spectrum of topics which are common among believers such as depression, lust, inappropriate thoughts and dreams, failure, discouragement, prayer and interceding, fasting, negative attitudes, the power of words, faith, exhortation,  and many others which will help empower your walk with Yeshua and allow God's divine plan for your life to manifest.

Before we begin, I would like to explain the format of the B'rit Hadashah so that you may better understand the scriptures.

What is the B'rit Hadashah?

The B'rit Hadashah is a Hebrew word meaning "new testament" or "new covenant" and is the second half of the Bible beginning with the Gospel according to Matthew.  The B'rit Hadashah is divided and organized into four sections, which are The Gospels, The Acts of the Apostles, The Letters, and Revelation.

The Gospels are composed of four books, namely The Gospel according to Matthew (Mattityahu), The Gospel according to Mark, The Gospel according to Luke, and The Gospel according to John (Yochanan).  Each one expresses a slightly different perspective of the life and ministry of Yeshua HaMashiach, yet each one is integral, trustworthy, and inspired by the Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit) as is the case with all scripture (2nd Timothy 3:16).  Interestingly enough, while Matthew and John were written by these two apostles, Mark and Luke were written by men who were associates of Peter and Paul respectively.

The Acts of the Apostles includes only the book of Acts which traces the history of the early church, portraying Peter, Paul, and Barnabas as the main characters.  This book was also written by Paul's associate Luke.

The Letters encompass many scriptures including THIRTEEN by Sha'ul (Paul), namely 1st and 2nd Corinthians, Philippians, 1st and 2nd Thessalonians, Galatians, Ephesians, Colossians, Romans, 1st and 2nd Timothy, Titus, and Philemon.  Following these are also included the books of Hebrews, James, 1st and 2nd Peter, 1st 2nd 3rd John, and Jude.  While everything listed above from Corinthians to Romans are letters of instruction, encouragement, and love to newly established churches; the letters from Timothy to Philemon are letters written by Paul to his spiritual children and fellow laborers with words of encouragement and wisdom.  The remaining letters listed above from Hebrews to Jude are also letters addressed to all believers but authored by various leaders of the early church, each book being named after its author.

Revelation is the last book of the Bible and is in it's entirety called "The Revelation of Yeshua to the apostle Yochanan" in which the LORD Yeshua reveals to John those things which must occur in the last days.  This prophetic book is relevant to current events taking place today, insightful, and carries a powerful message to the body of Yeshua regarding the urgency and importance of our faithfulness and commitment to the work of the Gospel and the salvation of souls.

Now that you have a better understanding about how the B'rit Hadashah is structured, we can begin our venture into the new testament scriptures. Please note that all files are formatted in either Word or Power Point.
